Affordable, cozy, and friendly staff. I always return to the place where they saved my forgotten hairbrush. It has all I need for my business trip, like free Wi-Fi and a flat-screen TV. The VIP check-in/out is a bonus. Plus, board games and a golf course! No smoking allowed.

I had a wonderful stay at Bracken's Retreat Villa in Lostwithiel. the property is a self, contained little flat in the garden of the main property, providing a quiet and peaceful atmosphere. Annalie, the host, was extremely helpful and flexible, even offering a later checkout without me asking. the flat itself is small but well, equipped with everything you need. There is plenty of on, road parking nearby, so parking was never an issue. Cons: Nothing, all good! 😊.

The hosts were friendly and always available to communicate with. the space was well-maintained and had plenty of natural light. the blackout blinds were a nice touch for a good night's sleep. the location on a quiet side street ensured a peaceful atmosphere, especially in the evenings. the kitchen had all the essentials and there was even a hairdryer provided. the strong wifi connection and consistent hot water were much appreciated. It was also enjoyable to have outdoor seating available to relax and enjoy a cup of tea. it was the perfect spot for a quiet Christmas getaway.
The limited parking availability due to the busy carnival week. there is a community car park nearby which should not be an issue during other times.

The bathroom was great! It had a lovely shower that made me feel refreshed and ready for the day. I loved how clean and modern it looked. As a casual guest, I really appreciated the simplicity and functionality of the space.
The only downside for me was that there was only one bathroom. But hey, that might not be an issue for others who are traveling alone or with a smaller group.

A Garden Oasis: Imagine stepping into the enchanting garden at Bracken's Retreat, a hidden oasis tucked away in Lostwithiel. Surrounded by vibrant flora and fauna, it felt like wandering through a secret world of tranquility.
Bed Squeeze: Minor hiccup - the bed was so snug against the wall that I managed to give my leg a love tap. But hey, nothing a little extra leg stretching couldn't fix!

The value for money at Bracken's Retreat was excellent, and the room was incredibly comfortable. The location was perfect for visiting the Eden Project, and the staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay.
The only thing that could make the breakfast better would be a wider range of choices.
